Kofi Annan speaks out on Zimbabwe
Kofi Annan has used the strongest words that he dared to condemn The Organization of African Unity and it’s soft attitude to Robert Mugabe. He confirmed his opinion that the plight of the Zimbabwe nation is of Mr Mugabe’s making and that he should not be recognised as President because the election process was not free and fair. He said that the people of Zimbabwe had expressed their desire for change in the Parliamentary elections but had not been able to do so in the presidential election.
